A Note from Kelley Malay:

Thank you so much for visiting The Royal Journey!  That's me there on a whirlwind tour of Ireland in 2015, celebrating a milestone anniversary with my favorite travel partner, my husband.  Royal Journey has been a work-in-progress for many years.  Throughout my adult life, I have consistently held three passions: world history, world cuisine, and world travel.  A lifelong travel enthusiast, it was a semester abroad in graduate school at Oxford University and a decades-long fascination with PBS’s Rick Steves and Jacques Pepin that truly brought my travel obsession to fruition.  It is a dream come true to make world travel a full-time occupation, bringing with me over 20 years of practical travel experience and knowledge. 

The Royal Journey was born from a desire to go beyond simply connecting the client to the correct travel components. We recognize that the role of the travel professional has evolved in recent years from that of “sales agent” to “educated consultant”. A seasoned traveler knows that the magic of a carefully curated trip lies completely in the details, and that is where the Royal Journey team excels!
