Why Should I Hire a Travel Agent?  

Online travel deals abound, right?  Why hire a travel agent when there is a great "deal" on Travelzoo or Expedia?  We have a saying in our industry, "No one thinks they need a travel planner...until they do."  

Let's face it- travel isn't cheap.  And, there is a LOT of information and moving parts out there to research when planning a trip. Obviously you want the biggest bang for your buck.  You can take your chances with the online booking engines, spend hours/days/weeks researching destinations, hotel options, how to get from point A to point B, and where to eat, all while maintaining your normal hectic "balance" of career and family obligations.  If this is your idea of fun, have at it!  But, for essentially the SAME PRICE or sometimes even LESS than you can find online, you can have the expertise of a travel professional, who can guide you in your travel planning, sort through the online mess, help you select the best vacation combination for your interests and budget, and best of all, BE THERE FOR YOU 24/7 WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG.  At some point or another, your flight will be cancelled.  Your spouse will get sick.  Your hotel will be overbooked.  You'll lose your passport.  You'll be pick-pocketed.  Wouldn't you rather have someone else deal with the hassles, leaving you free to enjoy your vacation?  

If you are traveling to a new destination, domestically or internationally, remember this: savvy travelers KNOW that it always pays to have a travel planner in your corner!  Why should you hire a travel agent?  You can't afford NOT to!
