Food Tour in Chicago's Loop
/Spent the day downtown today playing food-tour guide for one of my best friends who RARELY goes into the city. It’s her birthday today, so the four of us made sure to do some fun Chicago things while trying to stay warm- winter is definitely in full swing! Highlights included:
- Warm donuts from Beavers Donuts food truck
- Photo opp with the famous lions outside the Art Institute
- Coffee in the lobby of the Chicago Athletic Association (my FAVORITE hotel in the City)
- Spiced wine and shopping for German tchotchkes at the outdoor Chriskindlmarkt
- Lunch at Cochon Volant (my favorite spot for lunch in the Loop)
- Petit Fours and Chocolates from the French Market before catching the train home
